At CMLC we value early literacy and books as form of bonding between adults and children. Our teachers are constantly reading to the children here throughout the day, and our students are encouraged to explore books on their own. Early Literacy is reading from memory and sight word recognition, listening and looking at pictures, a baby chewing on a board book, a toddler asking for the same story over and over and so much more! These are the bricks that build the foundation for future reading.
Help support our schools, and drive into reading with your child! It is fun and easy to find books that best suit your family—shop online and choose from over 1500 amazing titles. Usborne and Kane/Miller books are just some of the best children’s books on the market today. You can also choose to make a donation to your child’s classroom by purchasing a book from the classroom “wish list” of books selected by the teachers.
We encourage you to share these wonderful books with your family and friends as well! We are very excited for this opportunity to continue to promote reading with the children and to update our classroom libraries.

All orders will be shipped to the school at no charge. Your order can be shipped to a different address for a minimal fee. Orders will be distributed at the schools at the end of April. Please fee free to ask about other ordering options (non-Internet orders or payment by cash or check).
